Before coming to England, I had never seen a lupin in my life! Apparently, they are very old fashioned flowers and a favorite among cottage gardens. I can see why. They grow tall and proud and protrude from the back of any cottage garden. The one at left reminds me of a giant Texas Bluebonnet! The only downside of this flower is that it blooms for a very short period. So enjoy it while you can!
