Before coming to England, I had never seen a
lupin in my life! Apparently, they are very old fashioned flowers
and a favorite among cottage gardens. I can see why. They grow
tall and proud and protrude from the back of any cottage garden.
The one at left reminds me of a giant Texas Bluebonnet! The only
downside of this flower is that it blooms for a very short period.
So enjoy it while you can! |
