The McAllisters have landed in another country! After living in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for 18 months, we relocated to England in summer 2008.

In Abu Dhabi, we lived along the beautiful Corniche, which is the seaside road in the heart of Abu Dhabi. We had a lovely and large high-rise apartment. But that was then.

This is now . . . and Niall, Kathryn and Branduff (and our tri-colored Border Collie Sophie) are back in Surrey, England, and living in a refurbished 1930's home, not too far from Leatherhead.

We have moved around a bit --

Our current residence in England (since July 2008)
Previous stint in Abu Dhabi (2006-2008)
Nearly five years in Spring (north Houston), Texas (2002-2006)
A couple of years in Surrey, England (2000-2002)
A cozy time in west Houston, Texas (1996-2000)
A humid adventure in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia (1992-1996)
Our beginnings in Houston where Niall and I met in 1982 and married in 1986.

We are truly expats at heart, and we find it difficult to stay in one place for very long, much to the dismay of our extended families!
